Default Memopad/Lotus Notes wireless Sync Defaults

Please Login to Remove!

I know different companies have different IT Policies on their BES servers as well as their Lotus Notes servers. I am trying to determine where the defaults would be for this option.

Our Calendar and Tasks sync over wireless. Email is push, obviously. My bb is is set up for wireless sync for Memo pad, but I am not sure what it would be syncing with in Notes.

Any Notes gurus out there?

Default Memopad default

It actually syncs with the notes personal journal. To create one go to workspace file-->database-->new give it a title and pick the journal template.
Then all you need to do is go into your inbox and go to Actions-->synchronize journal.

Ahh, but if you want wireless sync, and to make life a lot easier, I'd highly recommend getting roaming setup properly in Notes, and then set the PIM sync stuff to use the server based replicas of your journal and address book.

And, if you decide to go the roaming route, you may want to read this on the IBM/Notes forum.
