Default BB 8707V or Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

Now I'm the Owner of a Nokia E61 but I will change to a Blackberry device next week. I'm with Vodafone Spain, and my choice is limited to the 7100V, 7130V, Pearl or 8707V.

I was convinced about buying a 8707V but yesterday checking the Pearl I discovered that accepts a Micro SD card so I was now I'm not so sure...

Which are the main virtues and flaws of each model? Which one is better? Why should I buy one or the other? The new series 89 will appear soon and then the 8707V will be a piece of a museum?

I know that I'm a newbie in BB so I think that the smartest decision is ask the people who knows... so what's your choice?

Thank you!

If you will have a lot of e-mails to reply you must get a BB with qwerty keyboard. Otherways Pearl is much better ( you can export files from Computer to BB and vv).
8707 is UMTS , Pearl is EDGE or GPRS

Hi,

I do not type a lot of mails (maybe 10 a day is the maximum number) and I like the qwerty keyboard but not so much. If the 8800 it would be ready for Vodafone now I would take it for sure but I can't until Vodafone allows it. The Pearl seem much easier to resold after use as the form factor is not so special.

Any supporter of the 8707 or 8700 series in front of the Pearl?

Thank you!
