Options:Status;File Free (Problem)
 

For some reason, when I go to options, then status and check my "file free", it keeps decreasing dramatically throughout the day. I deleted a bunch of apps to free up space, then it went back down. I also reloaded the software. Still doin the same thing. Anybody know anything bout this?

Have you checked your phone call logs? They can get rather HUGE?

Go to Messages >>> View Folder >>> Phone Call Logs

and delete them if you don't need to keep em

Also, when I reboot the phone. Alll of the space comes back, but goes bak down again.

What apps do you use and / or are kept running???

When you restart the BB, all of the applications are not loaded. As you use them, then load, and take up more memory...

Lots of info on this. It's a "problem" many have complained about. You can search for "Memory leak" and come up with lots of info.

Preciate yall. I searched memory leak and saw I wasn't the only one. I had opera mini browser, ramble, google maps, and blackberry 411. I think the problem was with ramble. I took it off last nite and the memory hasn't been actin up. Imma see how long it stays like that

definitely delete your logs as well, that always helps my device run faster....
