Question Time not correct???????? and missing email

Please Login to Remove!

I took my first international trip with my 7290 and have two questions:

1. The big question is why does the time displayed not adjust to the time zone I am in like a normal cell phone? Can't believe this does not work as it was one way to always know the time and date by looking at me cell phone. Is this normal behavior or do I have a problem. Was also true in different time zones in the US.

2 I was in a country where I had voice access but no data access so got no email for 3 days. When I got back to data access I only received email for the day I returned to data access. The previous days are blank (mail on my laptop of course). I did a reconcile but no difference. Is this the way it is supposed to work??

1) correct, blackberries don't change the time with new time zones.

2) They might have expired and not have been sent.

There is no expiration date. If you are on BES, I think there was a known issue addressed on one of the service packs I read about where if a device was out of coverage for an extended period of time (hours or more), pending message would expire instead of sitting in the queue. I believe it has been fixed with a hotfix or service pack though
