We are running Bes 4.1 with lotus notes. I wanted to ask when an email arrives on your desktop and then your BlackBerry, if you read the email on the desktop how long before should the same email on the BlackBerry turns into read status ie blue? & vice versa? I thought it was only afew seconds?

I think it all depends on when the delete hits the cycle time (I doubt it is called cycle time but I'm not sure what it is called) on the BES. So if the cycle is 15 minutes and the delete is done at minute 1 it will be 15 more minutes if it hits at minute 14 etc... I have no idea what the cycle times are though

Just been going through some previous emails, it looks like the time is between 20-30mins for read emails to reconcile to the BB and vice-versa. Its hardcoded on the BEs so cannot be changed.

Deleting emails is kinda instant.
