I just got my 7105t off of ebay and making calls work fine, sms work fine.

However, I restored the phone and the IM icon is no longer there and I get recieve service books and the MEPP2 (ALt 2) doesnt work to unlock it.

help me.

I know I can log onto AIM with my plan because my girlfriend is able to on her little flip phone.

You only have to unlock the phone once. mep2 is not necessary again. You need a Blackberry Data Plan to get any data on the BB. Other data plans won't work.
