Upgrade Blackberry
 

I have the blackberry 7250 and I just saw a friends new blackberry and it seems like he has more options than mine does. For instance, under Messages-Options-General Options.. he has te option of "hide sent messages" where mine doesnt have this.

Is there anyway that I can upgrade my existing blackberry software so it gives me this option?

Now, I am fairly new to blackberries so an easy fix would be greatly appreciated.

Steps are:
Install Desktop Manager
Download and install to your PC the OS file from this link.
Delete vendor.xml from c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
Connect BB
Open Desktop Manager....should prompt to upgrade
