i have a user with a 7290 that was using the RIM server for his personal emails. now we activated him on our BES server and he is getting duplicates of each messsage, double contacts, etc...

is there a way to remove the individual RIM server settings and keep his BES server account activated ?

is there anything on the web to walk me through this one? i don't have a blackberry with me, and he's about 1500 miles from where i am, so i have to do everything over the phone with him.

Disable him on BIS server until he is back.

Not really. Your best best is to log into your carrier's BIS site while you're on the phone with him or to just do this yourself since you don't need access to the BB itself.
