Default Desktop Manager Hangs syncing Calendar

Please Login to Remove!

When I connect to Desktop Software, the DM syncs fine with the Handheld Calendar. When it starts reading MS Outlook Records, it hangs on record 217 out of 559 records.

It then comes up with a pop up saying send error report to Microsoft and closes down.

HELP !!

I don't remember getting that specific error message, so maybe this isn't it. But I do recall that when I first tried to synch my Outlook calendar to the BlackBerry, the application terminated every time it found an entry in Outlook that had an attachment. I just deleted the attachments or made them into text in the notes and everything has been fine ever since. Hope that helps.

I have read on this board where others have had a similar problem with synch hanging on a certain record. You might try to determine which exact record that is, delete it (or the 2-3 records adjacent). You will probably find that record has some oddity about like an attachment, or some odd field used that DM is not able to rectify.

you can have outlook only display calendar events with attachements:

open calendar - choose View, then arrange by then Cutsomize Current view then Filters then more choices tab and choose to only show those with attachments
