Question BIS Login

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I hope this question isn't too dumb, I've searched and haven't been able to find the answer. (I'm in Canada and my service provider is Rogers.) I'm attempting to login into the BIS web page and I have no idea what my user Id is. I clicked on the 'Forgot your password' link and my p/w was sent to my PP - but what's my userId? I tried my phone number but that doesn't work. I'm lost.

Help.

I haven't called them yet. I'm trying to avoid phone system hell if I can.

Are you sure you have an account created?

When I bought my phone, I hadn't yet set up any email accounts to be pushed. I did that after purchase.

The first time I went to the BIS login page, I created a new user account. I did it from the phone itself, but I suppose you could just go to the web page in any browser and do it. From there I could add/change email accounts.

I tried to create an account but was told that one already exists. (I'm doing this from my PC.)

Did you choose a userID or is it related to your PIN or cell number?

did you create a generic email address when you created your BIS account? many people will use their login id as the first part of the email

ie: cingular email: [email address] ..... login id: joedoe

Thanks everyone, I managed to figure it out. I didn't realize that I was logging in with the id of the mail account I created. I managed to get in and create a couple more email accounts.
