Default Can't get Mail Redirector working woth Lotus Notes

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to get theh desktop manager to redirect mail to my BB 8703, but no matter what I do it won't connect to my notes server. My company has BES, but I am not subscribed to it. The problem is whenever I try to configure the lotus notes connection settings it has a requried field for BES server.

During the install the redirector and BES options were the same so I think its trying to authenticate to a BES server, but i don't have one.

How can i get it to simply monitor my mailbox and forward me the messages? I guess the last resort is to set a mail rule in Lotus notes to forward to my BIS account, but I'd prefer to use the redirector software.

TIA

The easiest is to subscribe to your company's BES.

Desktop Redirector only works with Microsoft Exchange.

That's unfortunate. The generic Verizon wireless sync software supports redirection from notes, but that supports every smartphone except the BB
