attachment disappears when forwarding
BES 4.0/ Exchange 2003/ BB 8700
I have a user that when forwards emails with an attachment from the BB, the person receiving the email does not see the attachment. Is there a fix for this?
is this from a BES acct. or a BIS acct.?

I'm having the same issue. I know I'm on a BES, not sure versions, etc. Email client/Server is Lotus Notes if that matters.
im not sure if this is even relevant, but i know that it happens in outlook on the pc. maybe the fix is similar?
some random ideas: if it is BIS (sounds like its not though) the fix is to delete and readd the email address to the BIS site.
if its BES.....perhaps repush service books....or try deleting/readding affected users to the server and then repush SB's....
Is it just this user that is seeing the issue or is it when anyone forwards a message using their blackberry the attachment is stripped?
Also, are the attachments from a particular sender or from any sender? Are they on Outlook or a different client?
I've seen an issue similar to this when a blackberry user was on Groupwise but the sender was using Exchange. Somewhere during the process, the attachment had gotten stripped from the e-mail.
Also, does the blackberry receive the attachment? Because a forward is just a call to the server to forward the message so really shouldn't have much to do with the blackberry, if that makes sense..
