Default Auto Backlight

One thing I find odd on my BB 7250 is that when I click on an icon,or the phone rings the backlight does not automatically come on.

Any way to set it to do so?

With my 7290 the light will come on when the phone rings but not when I press buttons.

However, in the killer software thread FAQ there is a program listed called BBlight and you can set it to go on whenever you do an action I believe. Hope this helps!

Default BBlight

Can you set BBLight to go on when you hit any key, then turn itself off after an interval?

That's what I am looking for -- I really don't want the light on all the time, I just don't want to have to turn it on each time I use the BB.

Yes you can. Just choose "active on activity" or whatever and it will turn off after your default turn off interval.

Also, set the poll time to 100 ms to have the light come on faster.

One word of caution, the polling will use extra battery. If you need to conserve your battery be sure and deactivate bblight to get maximum life.
