reactivated BB on BES, now duplicate calendar on BB AND Outlook
I have a BB running on a BES. I had a problem where I had to remove the user from the BES then reactivate. Now after doing so, I now have duplicate appointments on BOTH the handheld and Outlook. I'm not sure how Outlook reconciled this way, but it did. Any ideas on how to fix this without manually deleting the duplicates?
not sure but maybe the BES admin. section would give you better results.
change the calendar view so you can see the 'date created', sort by the date created, and all of the duplicates should have the same date, makes it easier to delete quickly.
You can also perform an export of Outlook information into a .pst, checking the "do not export duplicates" box. Wipe the device, then import your backup from that .pst back into the information store, again checking the "do not import duplicates" for good measure.
This will clean the dupes, and when you resync the device it will wirelessly import the now clean data into the unit.
Keeping in mind, that sometimes duplicates exist because records truly do have something different in them
