Default Exchanging a BB- doi have to buy software again?

I got a pearl.. paid for some Magmic games..

i'm planning to cancel Cingular, and get a tmobile bb instead.
in any case. does that mean I have to buy thegames again?
what if someone had to get a new one in exchange for a defective hardware?they also have to rebuy the software?

Much of the software for BBs is registered according to your device's PIN. I have never had a problem with a vendor swapping a registration code, but you'll need to contact each of the vendors separately. Software downloaded and installed via your PC may install just fine on your new BB. I rarely (if ever) install apps via the desktop so I don't know about that.
