Default error: cannot open default folder in group

Please Login to Remove!

When synching, I am getting an error "cannot open default folder in group". I cannot get anything synched when this happens. Please help...I have a 7290

Red face can not open folder in group

We were having this same issue. I found that if you go into the computer Intellisynch configure PIM for contacts on the lower right hand corner there is a password configure option. I entered the users Network password and applied the settings then re-synchronized her blackberry to the BES server. This message did not reproduce and all synchronization was restored. We have a BB 7210. Hope this helps!

I am getting the same error with my 7250. Everything is fine until it gets to "Notes" and then I get, "Can't open deafault folder in group". This is when I'm trying to synch at home (on vacation). I tried the posted steps, except resynching with the BES since I'm away from work. Still get the error. Is the BES synch step necessary if I'm synching at home? Thanks!

Go to:
Intellisync -> configure PIM -> MemoPad -> Choose -> Browse

Select and apply an appropriate folder name for the user.

This should fix it.

Why do you get a message without an answer?

It is obvious the system has identified the problem "Can't open default folder in group".
Why not provide the answer or identify the location of the problem?

I have tried the suggestions to resolve the issue on the BBForum and it does not work.

Please help.
