Default BlackBerry 6280 - Questions before upgrading

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone. I have a quick question for you regarding the 6280 BB. I have a user that is wanting some in-house software that is used with the BB 7280 and above.

The version she has is the 6280 with v3.7. Will upgrading the OS take care of this issue? Also, will upgrading the OS on this BlackBerry allow for wireless sync'ing of emails, calendar, contacts, etc?

There is updated code the the 6280 available from the Cingular Download web site at https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...48b137114c3dTR

Since it is v4.0, it will allow for wireless sync.

I could not possibly tell you if it will help with your in house applications.
