Default Help with blackberry pearl

Please Login to Remove!

I own a blackberry pearl I installed the cd to my computer
but im now trying to put media onto it but it is saying disabled blackberry
desktop manager. And on my phone it says data connection refused im not sure if that has anything to do with it im just trying to put songs onto my phone... I am new to this please help thanks...John

i am also new to this and i belive you need outlook to use the computer. or you should use the mini SD card and put the songs on it and put them in ur phone.

2004 - nice try but a bit off..... Let's see..

You need Outlook to put PIM data onto the BB, but not media.
The 8100 uses a microSD card and not a mini card.

sewol19 - let's work on this.

Data Connection Refused means you have no BlackBerry Data Plan and will not be able to get any data, e-mail or internet on your Pearl. But you should be able to transfer music and pictures.

You installed BlackBerry Desktop Manager - the program on the CD. You connect the BB to the PC using the USB cable. The PC should now recognize new hardware - the BlackBerry. You start Desktop Manager. It should detect the BlackBerry.

If it does not, try a different USB port.
