Default Messages blocked by Norton Internet Security still getting through

Please Login to Remove!

We have one blackberry unit, a 8700c, that receives messages via Desktop Redirector. The redirector works fine except for the fact that all the messages blocked by Norton Internet Security's Antispam feature seem to still be sent to the Blackberry unit. Does anyone have any suggestion on how I can stop the spam messages from getting to my Blackberry?

Use a better email filter and post in the technical forums?

Norton internet security monitors after the message after it hits the users mailbox. It does not stop the message before being "delivered" therefor both it and the redirector see it at the same time. This isn't s bug, it is a design issue from microsoft and norton.

The best option would be using VAPI (if that is still the name) via a better email filtering/spam/virus program that runs against the exchange server or as a smarthost before the email is sent to the users desktop.

An even better solution would be to use a BES and get rid of the unreliability inherent in the redirector, though this would not solve your virus issue.
