Default Switching Sim card with new Number will it impact BES account

Please Login to Remove!

ok guys this may be confusing but Here is the story...

I currently have a 8700 with Data/voice(not monthly voice plan though) on a BES server & a nextel Cell

I have requested a Cingular cell b/c nextel is crap, so i got the Cell and had my number from Nextel ported over to Cingular.

Now i have my BB and a cingular Cell(with primary Telephone number)

Question: I want to have my voice(Primary Telephone number) + the BB Data all on one.... What is the easiest way to do this without having to impact my BES account and having to go through Enterprise activation again...

Thanks.

Is your 8700 an 8700c or unlocked? If so, all you need is the BES data plan on your Cingular line and then you can just take the SIM from your Cingular cell and place it into the 8700. No need for Enterprise Activation as you're using the same BB. BES doesn't care which carrier you use or even if you switch carriers. The exception would be if you went to/from GSM to/from a non-GSM carrier (because you would need to switch devices in those cases).
