Auto Text Question Is there any way to auto text a message that puts a contacts name in the message? |
If I understand your question, that you want a contact name automatically inserted into a message? All autotext must be set up in advance, such as a shortcut to your own name, i.e., typing "gw{space}" would insert "George Washington". I read you question to mean it would pull a name from the contact book? I don't believe that is possible. |
i use a lot of the same email addresses so I also put someone's initials as outlined above followed by an e for their email, but you do have to enter this first |
AFAIK user-created autotext entries are fixed so there's no way to make one for the name of the contact you're emailing. |
