if you have a Pearl....Desktop Manager (has device manager in it) 4.2. Otherwise download Desktop Manager 4.1 for all older blackberries.

If you have Windows Vista, install 4.2 SP1.

The latest versions of Desktop Manager will work with all BB's. You don't "have" to use DM 4.1 with older models. Media Manager included with 4.2 won't work with older models but the rest is compatible.

yeah i know but i was saying that so they wouldn't have extra icons that they have no use for w/o a BB pearl...no point in getting confused if you can avoid it.
