Default Blackberry and headsets

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can use a headset (bluetooth or universal) talking to someone and simutaneously use applications?

In other words, can I use a headset on my 7250 or 8703 (in the future) and still use Calendar, email, etc.?

Thanks,

Adam

depends on the application.....data related applications won't fuction while voice calls are going on...cannot use both data and voice to full extent at the same time. Not sure if you could compose emails while on calls....and send them once call is over.....but any non data based apps would probably be able to be used as normal.

dgray8 is correct, data transmit is off while on the phone. You can view most anything on your blackberry while on the phone, with or without headset. You cannot browse the internet or send or receive e-mail, you can compose e-mail and press send, but it just won't send until the phone is disconnected.

...and alt-esc will allow you to switch tasks (whether or not you're on a phone call).
