Just wondering if anyone has come across a hack/software/shortcut that could emulate pressing in the scrollwheel and consequently launch the menu. I often find that it would be great to be able to launch the wheel click menu by pressing a key/keys on the keyboard then having to move my hand position to click the wheel. I find it a bit tiring to click the wheel with my index finger rather than my thumb. Any ideas?

You can hit the enter key (looks like carriage return) for almost all wheel clicks. You can use the spacebar to toggle drop down and choice boxes.

I don't know of any to make the menu pop up though. Enter is handy for selecting menu options though. Alt + scroll wheel is very useful for quickly choosing options in the drop downs.

Thanks for the info although i was already familiar with these shortcuts. I just feel that with the option to use the keys to select menu item, enter to select an item and spacebar to toggle other options it would be great to be able to essentially use only the keyboard and not lose any functionality by being able to launch the menu with a keyboard shortcut.
