Default nextel blackberries

so, i see that Nextel has only 1 Blackberry (7100i) that would fit my needs, and it seems a little outdated. I know nextel doesnt ever get the newest phones, but i dont want to lay down the green and then they start carrying a newer Blackberry. So, im curious if anyone has heard or read or watched anything about Nextel announcing a new Blackberry supporting their PTT feature.

i think there was a post on here just a few days ago about this. If I remeber correctly, Nextel will not be releasing any new blackberry's. All new blackberry's will be either sprint or hybrid phones. I hope that helps. Do a search and see what turns up. Good luck.

Nope, Nextel will not be releasing a new BB any time soon. They had one scheduled for release(one I really wanted) but they're not going to release it. They are starting to phase out IDEN for the other PTT service.

yep, we are slowly switching to t-mobile and I am teaching my users to use BB messenger in place of PTT.

Why switch to tmo when you could migrate to a Sprint CDMA device?

Sprint CDMA BB's do not have PTT features. My question was to ladydi.
