Three questions:

• I have an Exchange Server and BES at the office and Outlook using POP at home. I use wireless from the BES and connect using the wire at home. I WANT to have every appointment that I enter into my calendar (on Outlook at home, Outlook at work, and Blackberry) sync and appear to each other. I assume that the BB will be the conduit and when I enter appointments at home, they are sync'd using the wire and then sync wireless through the BES. I wold also like all of my contacts to do exactly the same thing. Can I do it?

• When I get mail (which I ONLY get and want through the BES), I get it in Outlook and on the BB. When I delete the mail from the BB, it deletes from Outlook. However, when I delete it from Outlook, it DOES NOT delete from the BB!!!??? The BB is set to "Delete On: Mailbox & Handheld".

• Is it possible to sync OLD mail (mail that is in my Inbox PRIOR to when I got the BB) from my Exchange Server to my BB?

I sincerely appreciate the level of knowledge in these forums. Not all of us have a BES Administrator that is that bright.

1. Not sure about using wireless and wired sync at the same time. I know you can sync at work and at home as long as you don't choose the BES install option for Desktop Manager at home.

2. Make sure you're not permanently deleting items in Outlook. BES needs to "see" the email in Deleted Items to properly reconcile. Once reconciled you can perform the permanent delete.

3. Nope. Email doesn't sync on any Blackberry. Enterprise Activation will push out a few days worth of email (IIRC depends on how the BES admin has it configured) but that's it.

To question 1, I have tried this and when I try to sync on the home pc (non-BES), I get an error that I have the BB set to wireless sync and cannot sync via cable. Thus, I only have email set to wireless sync and all other Outlook info I sync via cable with both home and office PC.

Note takeshi's info about not choosing BES install for Desktop Manager at home. That was my problem for a few days until I was given that advice. The setup won't work otherwise.

If anybody finds a way that you can leave wireless reconciliation on and still sync with the non-BES (home) PC, please let us know.
