I was refered by a member of howardforums.com to visit this site for help and input regarding the Nextel Blackberry 7520.

Sometime back I used to be the proud owner of the Nextel Blackberry 7510. However, since it didn't work in letting me send/receive emails, and gave me headaches, I decided to return it and went back to the old fashioned cellular phone. Now, I see that Nextel has come out with their "new and improved" Blackberry 7520 with a lot more gizmos on it. My question to the group is: Does anyone have the Nextel Blackberry 7520 (with full web/email package and phone service)? How is it overall? Does it give you headaches when you have to use it as a phone? Are you able to send and receive emails? Is there anything cheaper than the Blackberry data plan Nextel offers or anyway to bypass that? What do you think are the pros and cons? I want to be 150% sure if I am to purchase this unit...that's why I'm doing the research first. Thanks.

I started a blog to help people who are wanting to know more about the Nextel blackberry, in particular the 7520 model. I have the full data plan as well as a voice plan and would love to offer you my advice. A great deal of time was spent on my behalf on my blog so feel free to offer comments. Hope that helps you out. I love my blakberry and have not had much headaches with it.

could you tell me more about the email problems you were having with your 7510 I believe uneducated tec support was probably your biggest problem

it wouldn't receive or send emails. for some reason it just didn't work. i went all the way up to RIM starting off with nextel support and they couldn't even do it. I got so fet-up, I went back to my nextel i830 which I absolutely loved. Now, I may want to give the new BB a shot...but I want to be totslly sure. Hope this helps.
