Default deleting multiple contacts

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry 6750. I have done two syncs through Intellisync of my database from ACT! (also tried one from Outlook). Somehow my contacts were added in twice, as duplicates, and new syncs with the "ACT! wins" setting does not replace the dups. How can I just delete all contacts simultaneously and do a fresh sync? I tried a soft reset but that does not wipe out all the contacts.

If you enter the incorrect password more than 10 times it will wipe the user data and password off of your Blackberry. Then you can re-sync it to restore your data. This works when group policy is used to require password protection on the Blackberry. I beleive the same is true if you add a password and then enter an incorrect pasword 11 times. I hope this will help you.

Don't do the password thing 10 times. A real pain!!!
Plug your BB in and open desktop manger. Go to Backup/Restore then click on Advanced. You will see your BBs tables on the right side. Highlight address list and click clear. This will wipe just the address book then you can resync.
