Default Blackberry Internet service..pls help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have bought Blackberry 8707v Enterprise & want to set it up as Blackberry Internet service.
What do i need to access my corporate emails ?

As per my understanding, I simply need to configure my OWA using the Blackberry Internet site account and nothing else...am i right ?
or, do i also need to configure my Exchange user (blackberry user) as IMAP/POP account as well ?

I am really confused..pls guide whether i need my account to be configured as pop3 and imap as well (apart from OWA access).

Thanks

Configure as you would a POP3. Have you set up your BIS Account yet?

You need to do that first and then set up your individual email accounts.

Thanks for your guidance.

My understanding was that I will just select 2nd option (i.e. I am connecting using web or outlook web access) while creating the account.
If i have Outlook web access then why do i need pop3 account ?

Cant my blackberry connect to my OWA site and download the messages ?

I am confused. pls guide further to clear my understanding on this.

thanks again,

Depends on how your Exchange admin has things configured. I can't use OWA for either of my Exchange accounts (one owrk, one personal) but people have definitely been able to use the OWA option to integrate. Have you tried yet?
