Default Must Resend w/Desktop Mgr 4.2 (Everytime w/Reply and Forward)

Hello Everyone,

We have been rolling out 7700 and 8100 Blackberries and seem to have a problem with people having to resend everytime they want to reply to or forward a message. The Message Status always reads "Desktop couldn't find the original message..." The message is still in the mailbox on the Exchange Server and on the Blackberry.

All our users are working off a BES Server with the exception of myself (using the Desktop Redirection software). Same behaviour either way (regardless of redirection software vs. BES or Pearl vs. 7700).

This seems to start happening after upgrading the Desktop Manager software to the latest version.

We have plenty of people with older Blackberries and older versions of the Desktop Manager that have been and still do forward and reply just fine.

Any suggestions? The CFO is now having the issue as well so it is becoming quite critical

Welcome to the Forums.

Sounds like it's an issue Server Side, if all the handhelds are having the same issues. Typically, when the handheld can't find the original message, it's because it was moved off the server or deleted. If they're still there, then the communication between the handhelds and server is probably wonky.
