Default Is this a scam?

I received a text message today on my Blackberry with the following Subject: ACTION REQUIRED. The message is "Due to Daylight Savings time changing you must update your Blackberry at ...." and then gave a web address. The message says I have to do that before Marrch 11. Are we all getting this text message? I thought the newer Blackberrys require no changes to accomodate the new DST. (Is the plural of Blackberry berrys or berries?)

The plural is berries, and no it is not a scam. They changed the dates that day light savings time go into effect this year, and that is why it needs an update. You need to do the update or your calendar and everything will be wrong.

I believe the plural of Blackberry (the smartphone device) is Blackberrys, since it is a trademarked name. The plural of blackberry the fruit (not actually a berry at all, but a fruit, a) is blackberries.

Of course it really doesn't matter anyway. Just bored here on a Friday afternoon.
