Has anyone used this when migrating to their new 8800 device? I will be picking mine up today and would like some input. PS: I am on a BES and will have to redo Enterprise Activation I assume.

Switch Device will transfer data from the old handheld to the new one, you would still need to reactivate on a BES and/or change the PIN in the BIS site.

I used it when transferring from my Pearl to my 8800. VERY easy process. If all goes smoothly, the new handheld will Ent Act all by itself.

I did this for my switch from 8700 to 8800, very smoothly.

A bit off topic, so please forgive me, but I would truly appreciate your assesment of your new 8800 being the experienced user you are.

Thanks Guess (et al). Yes, it worked fine and when complete performed Enterprise Activation. Not all apps transferred thoug. Not a big deal, I just real installed OTA as I need new reg codes anyway.
