I inadvertently signed up as a member of this forum AND blackberryforums.pinstack.com.
After a week or so I realised that it was PROBABLY THE SAME FORUM. Now however, none of my shortcuts go to blackberryforums.pinstack.com.

Was pinstack a part of the blackberryforums or not. I am confused.

A guy had just solved my problem of a worded theme for the Pearl, don't like icons. He showed me the screenshot so I posted a request for download point but pinstack is no more so I can't retrieve the answer if it is there.

Can you tell me what happened to pinstack and if it is still a part of you ?

Does anyone know a download point for a worded theme for Pearl like BB Insight list on 8700v.

Pinstack is NOT the same as this forum.... BUT IMHO, this forum blows that other one away.....

Pinstack is a competitor to this site, Pinstack doesn't allow links from their site to any competitors, but BBF here has no such restrictions. Stick to using this website/forum and everyone will love you.

As stated above, pinstack has nothing to do with blackberryforums. They did however start later in the game, and chose to blatently copy this websites name, instead of using forums.pinstack.com they used blackberryforums.pinstack.com... kind of doesnt make sense, does it?

Can anyone determine what is up with pinstack.com?

I think the gentle answer people are trying to get across is "we don't talk about Pinstack on this forum because the owner (Guess) of this website/forum feels they ripped him off, so we support him and don't patronize their establishment",

It would be polite to not continue this Pinstack discussion further.

I don't mind discussions of that nature, I am in no way a dictator, so as long as it follows the forum rules, its free to be discussed, even if its regarding a website that blatently copied my hard work, I am not however upset with them about that.. I am upset with them that the owner decided to post private emails publicly.

Ya I agree! Me personally, I have issues with thieves.... But that's just me! This site rocks Guess and although they tried to imitate, there is still only one Blackberry forums on the net that is a one stop shop for everything BlackBerry related, and that Sir, is the BBF!!!

Pinstack seems to be "unreachable" yesterday and today (the most recent google date was 02/22/07). I don't frequent their site, but tried to access because it seems Joshua was asking why he can't reach the Pinstack site. I am unable to either.

Maybe they downloaded desktop manager on their server and it 'exploded'.... Sorry I could not resist... My avatar made me do it....

Or maybe they tried to register NJBlackBerry and the entire domain exploded!
