I have a (Verizon) Samsung sch-a670 phone with a camera, but I need an organizer/calendar more than the camera. I will need to occasionally be able to use my phone as a modem for my laptop or quick web browsing. I usually send more text messages than I do IM. I am in need of opinions, is this phone too technical for me and a waste of money?
Is this the right phone for me?

If you need bells and whistles ( camera, ringtones, etc) it is not for you. If you need (modem for my laptop or quick web browsing, email, contacts etc,) GET IT! You can get a better deal through NEXTEL than Verizon. I got mine a month ago and love it!

Thanks for the advice. I'm not attached to the camera feature, I rarely used it since I carry a digital camera with me. The only thing that does concern me is that I have heard several people say that the 7250 has a very low ringtone.
Unfortunately, I am stuck in a contract with Verizon so I will be paying full price for my blackberry and will be unable to take advantage of Nextel's deal.
