Default T-Mobile Bans Third Party Apps - BB Affected?

I just found this article and it talks about how T-Mobile has just banned 3rd-party apps such as Opera Mini and Google Maps. How do you think this will affect BB users or the blackberry in general?

You're missing that part about it only applying to "feature phone users." Not an issue for us.

Does this apply to PocketMac's patch for March 11 DST? I'm having trouble installing this. Thanks. pah

The linked article has some dubious writing to begin with. I mean, comparing civil liberties to third party app usage is more than just a little hyperbole...
