Default Whats with the two mail icons on my new 7520?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB 7520 that work just replaced for me. I dropped the other one so many times it finally started to malfuction. Anyway, just transfered all my info to my new 7520 that my work bought and now I have two mail icons on the front screen. One is a icon of a envelope (messages) and the other is a envelope with a arrow going around the front (I guess it is indicating that "mail coming in"/ at the bottom of the screen it shows my nextel email account)
What is the difference in the two. My other BB did not have this. I receive the same emails in both. The first icon (messages) also shows all my call coming in and going out plus emails. Do I need both? Can some one give me "heads-up" on this. My old 7520 just had a icon of a envelope which had all my call listed along with emails etc..
Thanks

Yep, this is a little oddity that I've noticed in 'newer' BB's.

The standard email icon takes you to your main mailbox, although as you've noted it's sorta like a 'message central'.

The second icon, with the arrow looping over the top, is like the mailbox only for one particular email account - in this instance, your Nextel address. If you set up another address (eg POP3) you'll get an email icon for that address, too.

I've got several email accounts being polled so I ended up with several of these extra icons, but I used the 'Hide Application' feature (alt+clickwheel) to mark them to be hidden from view so that all I see if the good old main mailbox icon.

Basically the same way -- Alt+Wheel but choose Show All. Hidden icons will then have an X over them and you can use Alt+Wheel to choose to unhide one when you have it selected.
