Default Mobile Dialling Problem

Please Login to Remove!

I recently purchased a BB Perl in Hong Kong and added my address book of Shanghai contacts from my SH sim for dialling in SH. None of the Shanghai mobile numbers are now working. After some playing around I figured that by adding 0 before the SH mobile number it does gets through, though it's not normally necessary to do this when dialled in SH - Is there a setting on the phone which will fix the problem and allow me to dial through using the standard numbers? I have over 100 stored SH mobiles and would rather not manually change them all if at all possible.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

I just noticed that the phone is automatically add a "+" (+136...) before dialling the number - could this be the problem? Is there any way to stop blackberry from dialling "+" when phoning mobiles? Otherwise I guess I have to add full country code?

Dig around in the smart dialing settings. I'm not 100% certain that it will do what you need but it works pretty well in my limited experience with it. You might need to add the country codes.
