Default Blackberry 7520 Dead

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,
Any help on this issue will be greatly appericated.

Today my Nextel 7520 died. This morning i noticed that the menus seemed a little sluggish, so I cleaned up some e-mail and did a soft reboot. The soft reboot left the Blackberry in a continual spinning hourglass. I let this ride for about an hour, and the hourglass still spinning. I then proceded with pulling the battery, and still no luck. I then pulled the SIM card out and tried that thinking there was an issue with the card and same results. Searching the forums I noticed that many had simular issues, and reloading the OS seemed to be the Fix. I downloaded the Nextel software and plugged in the BB and It can not load the software, the BB Desktop can not connect to the blackberry.

I will be calling Nextel on monday beacuse apperently their blackberry support is Monday-Friday.

Thanks for any help

speaking of Customer Support, anyone ever wonder why customer support is only Monday-Friday? I send and recieve emails all the time when out of the office, and if a problem occurs on Friday night, I can't recieve emails all weekend, even though i am paying for the services. Any one have a good explanation as to why?

I dropped off the blackberry at the Nextel repair depot here in town, and they are going to replace it. The tech didnt know what the issue is, they just automatically replace them. So I should get the replacement by mail tomorrow morning. I spoke to the tech about the support times, and it seems that there is 24/7 support on the standard issue phones, but the blackberrys are supported by a different group. So perhaps someday the Blackberry support will be 24/7 as well.
