I have just got my new 9720 over the weekend. It is not yet email enabled, but I have a question about the messages.
Is there any way I can filter them so there is an inbox and sent items view? At the moment all the sms's are showing, and just separated by date.

There is no way to separate the messages. It's not really an Inbox - the label on the icon says "Messages", so it is all consolidated (Incoming e-mail, outgoing e-mail, SMS, PIN to PIN messaging) all in one place.

I agree, i wish it was set up with those folders (inbox/sent/deleted/drafts etc.)

So, when I have my several email accounts finally enabled, and am also receiving sms's, they are all going to come into the messages place, only separated by date? Seems a bit rediculous that there is no way to sort them.

there are some shortcuts for filtering the view in your 'messages' folder. i believe Alt-I shows only incoming, Alt-P is just phone calls, Alt-M is just email, Alt-S is just SMS, Alt-D is only direct connect (this last one is odd...i'm using a 7100 on Cingular, and DC is a nextel feature. anyone know anything about this one?)
