Cool That Flashing Red Light

Please Login to Remove!

I have a new Blackberry 8703g, great phone pda etc. When I am talking on the phone, the indicator light rapidly flashes red. I think this just started about 3 weeks ago. What 's up with this? It is driving me crazy. Anyone know how to shut it off?:

yep, pretty easy, go to options, screen/keyboard, scroll down to LED Coverage Indicator. Set to OFF and save.

And it should mean that on his 8703g, it just sounds like he has for some reason associated the red light with his being on the phone.

Of course, he did state it was rapidly flashing red. I know in a low battery state the LED will flash orange.

At least i'm not the only one who had that problem with the treo. The indicator light on the treo meant absolutely nothing to me. Sometimes it would be orange, sometimes it would be green, sometimes it would flash, sometimes nothing. It may have well just been an LED that flashed at random.

I'm so glad to be rid of it.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Now that's the best reason I've heard to date as to why you should keep your LED on!

would've been a shame if you managed to hit the blackberry with the golf ball though :D
