Default T-mobile prepaid SIM

I have read that one can use the T-mobile prepaid SIMs to get web/email connectivity.(I think) I was going to use it instead of paying for a Blackberry plan, (I'd only use the connectivity at work for a boredom fighter) I would like to use Yahoo messenger, et al, and maybe some email. So would that work, and how do I get a hold of a T-mobile prepaid SIM? There are no local offices in my area.

I don't know what you read since you didn't give a link or citation, but TMO prepaid will not handle the Blackberry Data Plan that MUST be on your account for access to the web, email, etc. As it stands, your phone is good for the phone and SMS, and that is all you will get without the BB Data Plan.

Since the above paragraph applies to whether you need a prepaid card, locations at which you can purchase the prepaid cards really won't help you any, but you might check their website to see what retailers carry the cards. I do know CVS Pharmacies, Walgreens, etc., all do.
