I am having problems receiving attachments using my 7520 and BlackBerry Web Client. [For the record, I did search for this, but could not find anything that matched specifically.]

When I open the attachment, and select "retrieve full contents", it never does. Basically it times out and gives me that dreaded red X. A couple things have happened a result of some redirector issues at work, RIM support had me switch my desktop software from version 4.0 to 3.6. Also, we deleted the Web Client service book. I restored it from the site, but am still having the problem. I have already tried a hard reset.

Please let me know if you have any insight. Thanks in advance.

Is it on every file? Send yourself a small word attachment, and a small pdf. The red x usually means the file was protected. In a pdf it may be set to no extract, (happens in class stuff) in a word I've never seen this, (yet) in jpgs its when mi sister sends them from her mac...wrong jpg format.
