Default ISP calendar access on BlackBerry

Please Login to Remove!

Folks,

Is there any BlackBerry device/solution capable of viewing an ISP calendar such as hotmail, yahoo etc? If not, is anything in the pipeline?

I would be grateful for any information.

All the very best

Johnny

I think I remember seeing someplace that if you have the paid Yahoo or Hotmail, you can synch to their calendar. You might try a search and see what you find.

Not that I'm aware of currently - and whether it's in the roadmap or not you'd need to ask rim.. I could perhaps make an argument that it would be worth having the open calendar std (is it vcal or ical) format...however remember that the BIS server would have to interrogate the hotmail account to get this info and then push it out to the device...which is more complicated given the multitude of 3rd party providers?

I can't see them supporting this as it would partially undermine BES. Not that BES will sync your calendar with Hotmail or any of the other service mentioned above...
