Default Stopping 2007 DST Patch Manager

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

The 2007 DST Patch Manager has been running since yesterday and it still shows PATCH NOT FOUND.

How do I stop it from running and possibly trying some other way of getting it patched?

TIA

Open Desktop Manager and launch Application loader. You should be able to uncheck the TimezoneOtaPatcher application and press Next to remove it from your device.

Then either attempt the OTA version, or get teh one you manually load on the device using the Aplication Launcher.

Check out this page:

Here you go, use this link FROM your BB browser, it will autodetect your BB model and take you to the download... give it 5-10 seconds before canceling and saying it never did anything.

BlackBerry

w w w.blackberry.com/select/dst2007/

The easiest method is COPY that link, paste into an email to yourself, and click directly from your BB.

I have a user who has a Blackberry 8703e and who has been updated with the DST 2007 patch for the Blackberry. With the patch he now has his meetings adjusted one hour off(late). He is using Meeting Maker 8.53 for his calendar.
Do I need to get the patch off of the Blackberry? Hardware reset?

It sounds like Meeting Maker needs updated. I'm not familiar with the software, but according to their website, version 8.6 has the DST changes, and that you must upgrade if you want Blackberry support.

The problem is that the University is going to move to Outlook and Exchange 2003. We have not updated Meeting Maker yet. We will make the update soon.
