Default Content Store?

Please Login to Remove!

I have searched under faq's and did a search of all posts, even looked in my handheld help guide.

When i was clearing some space, such as phone logs and messages, while backing up the device, i noticed that content store takes up alot of memory. Can anyone tell me what this is?
Also, what is handheld keystore and trusted keystore?

Corey, I'm wondering the same thing....does anyone know?


Update: I found this on Blackberry Cool. Has anyone tried doing this? Is it really okay to delete the Content Store database?

<<<What happened is the handheld Content Store database has become corrupt or the memory of the handheld contains a corrupted file. You will need to clear the content database.

Clear the content store database.

1. Connect the handheld to your personal computer with a universal serial bus (USB) cable.
2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager and double-click Backup and Restore.
3. Click Advanced.
4. In the Handheld Databases list, highlight Content Store. Click Clear.
5. If you are prompted with a warning, click OK to continue.
6. Click Close > Close to return to Desktop Manager.>>>

I can't backup my Content Store because it is "unreadable" and i don't even know what it is!!

Well, I don't think you're actually backing up the content store...you're just going through B-R to get to the database.
