Does anyone know how to send a SMS text message to more than one person at once? Maybe there is an application someone knows of?

From what I read on the link you had sent me the blackberry doesnt really have that option, and i find it ridiculous. Someone has to of developed an application to do this.

I think the thread linked above by teskew explains how to do this. Add the email address to the cell phone (xxxxxxxxxx@message.alltel.com, for example) for those you are interested in sending the SMS messages to. Then, create a group of those people, and use the email address for SMS. Then email the group.

thanks jbaird, but to do that, would i need to know what carier my recipients are using?
and could they still respond back to me via sms by hitting their reply button?

You would need to know the carrier. You can send email messages to , but I have had problems with that here (specifically Alltel and Cellular One would get messages back saying that they could not be delivered).
If you go to http://fonefinder.net, you can look up the prefix and area code, and get the provider (as long as they have not ported their number elsewhere)
