Exclamation Help! BES and Lotus Domino Encoding

Please Login to Remove!

From my understanding, all the messages that go out through BES and Lotus Domino should be re-encoded into UTF-8 so my colleagues in Asian could send me Chinese and Japanese emails to be displayed on my BlackBerry (8707v) with Chinese and Japanese fonts loaded. However, another company located in Singapore tried to send me some mails but they became unreadable.

I looked up the mail headers between my colleagues' and the other company's and noticed that my colleagues have character set in utf-8 and another company is in ISO-2022-JP. I started puzzling why both companies are using Lotus Domino 6.5 and BES 4.0 and the outgoing mails would be in different format. Mails were sent from BlackBerry devices instead of the Lotus Notes. Is there a setting or something that I can change to force the Domino/BES to repackage the outgoing messages to UTF-8?

Thanks a lot. (Y)
