depending on what service provider you are using you can call them and get them to send you the service books again, or there might be a place to do it on the SP website

call your SP and ask

If you don't have Web capabilities, you probably don't have a Data Plan. No Data Plan = No Web or Email.

First, make sure you have a Blackberry data plan. Second have your carrier remove the BIS account associated with your PIN so you can set up your own.

If any help, with T-Mobile, you can setup your email accounts and send service books to your phone using the mytmobile web site, you can even add the BB unlimited data plan yourself, I think you should call tech support first though. I bought mine used as well and had to call tech support to have them reconfigure the phone to its default settings, (as if I bought it new). I still had the previous owners my faves info and his email accounts.

If you tried to register via BIS and it said the pin/imei is already registered contact the person you purcahsed the BlackBerry from and have them contact the service provider to have the pin/imei released. Once that's done you should be able to set up your email accounts.

If you were able to successfully register your pin/imei and set up email accounts via BIS but have no wireless connectivity on your BlackBerry and you have a BlackBerry data plan then try resending the service books and see if that helps.

yeah i'm with rogers and i don't have a data plan... pay as you go. as for contacting the original owner, i got it at a pawn shop so.. i think that is a lost cause. i'll try calling rogers and see what they have to say.
thanks
