Default Sync Blackberry Contact

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user that has the BB 7250. She is on my companies BES. I am the admin for company and I was wondering is there a way to sync her contact thats in her outlook with her BB without using desktop manager? The only option i saw under the blackberry manager in the BES was under the properties of the user under PIM Sync, synchronization is enabled and the type is bidirectional. Can any one help me? thanks

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

You can sync wirelessly with BES 4+. That's your only other option.

Would the user have to do anything on her end? I am not sure but I thought the contact as well as email are already wirelessly sync by default. She said her new contact did not go into her BB yet? that why I am kinda confused.

Where you able to resolve this? I have a user with the same problem. Contacts in her Outlook are not always syncing to the 8700c.

This is not an elegant fix, but it seems to have worked for me.

I change the users PIMsync profile setting for address book in BES 4.1 from Bi-directional to "Server to Device" and sent a new service book to the device.

I then reverted the setting to bi-directional and sent a new service book. The contacts now appear to be sync'd correctly between the phone and Outlook.
