This is going to sounds like spam itself as it is only my second post but I want to put something back into the forum...
For some time I've been plagued by spam. Okay, it's not as bad as Outlook but up to 10 messages a day.
After months of searching I came across some anti-spam software called Antair.
It's a bit of a strange recommendation actually because it doesn't work for me. The developer explained why and I don't really want to reveal the reason here and help out any future spammers.
Anyway, I've read a lot of positive reviews for the product so you may want to give it a go.
Good to know, I just checked out their website. I don't have a problem with spam on my BB, very minimal. But the product looks viable, accepts most all RIM products it appears.
Waste of money! $50 for a program that decides all by itself, without even letting you know, if an email is spam then deletes it, never again to be found??? NO THANKS!
According to the FAQ: 'The filtered spam messages will still be available in the INBOX or SPAM folder of your desktop e-mail application if you have the need to check on it.'
True JSanders, unless you are getting an inordinate amount of spam, delete the few you get. I maybe get 1 a day. Not a big enough problem for me to shell out $50.
I love SPAM!!!!! oh wait we aren't talking the canned meat are we? I get very little email spam! when I do I adjust the filters on my email accounts and bam all gone!
